In this activity our goal was rhyming. I printed out the provided rhyming cards from The Itty-Bitty Bookworm. I then placed one of each pair in a horizontal row. I placed the remaining cards into a bowl. I discussed some examples of rhyming (hat/cat, dog/frog). Then I told him the pictures on his table were missing their rhyming buddies. I did the first round for him. He seemed to remember where the picture went in the first example I gave him.
I really don't think Caden understood what rhyming is but we did our best. He enjoyed looking at the pictures.
