Hannah is Currently 22 months old

Miss Polly Has a Dolly Mommy School Presentation- This is a slide show of our lesson that we have done with the book Miss Polly Has a Dolly.  Our lessons mainly come from The Itty-Bitty Bookworm but I do add other activities.  Click on Miss Polly Has a Dolly and check it out.

Number of the Week- Our number of the week is number 17.  Mainly for Caden but Hannah participated too.  I got the worksheet from here and had the kids place sticker dots on each of the 17  dots
Paper Doll- In the book Miss Polly has a Dolly she has a doll that is sick.  From The Itty-Bitty Bookworm lesson we were to decorate our little Dolly.
Cereal Necklaces- I helped Hannah stick the yarn through her cereal necklace.  The kids did not wear them for long because the dog kept on following them. lol

Letter of the Week- Our letter of the  was V.  I got this worksheet from our Abeka workbook.  The other worksheet came from The Itty-Bitty Bookworm, sorry it is sideways.

Sensory Box- I put cotton balls, cups, tongs and bowls.  In the book Miss Polly has a Dolly at the end they get ice cream so the sensory box is to pretend to make ice cream.  I need to get some ice cream cones.  Got this idea from The Itty-Bitty Bookworm.

Bird Nest Cookies-We made Bird Nest Cookies, we got the recipe from The Itty-Bitty Bookworm.  Hannah loves chocolate.  All she did was suck all the chocolate off.
Recipe:  1 can of Chow Mein Noodles, semi sweet chocolate chips, and jelly beans.  Melt the chocolate and then stir in the noodles, make the nest and add the jelly bean on top.  Put in the refrigerator for 10-15 minutes.

Sorting Jelly Beans by Color- Hannah can not quite do this by herself so I would say the color of the jelly bean and point to the correct bowl and then she put it in.

Number of the Week-
Cereal Necklaces- This lesson came from The Itty-Bitty Bookworm.  The kids (well Caden) laced Fruit Loop Cereal on a piece of yarn and then I tied it around their neck to wear.  It did not last long, the dog would not stop following them so they took it off.
Bird Nest Cookies- This came from The Itty-Bitty Bookworm.  I got a can of Chow Mein Noodles, semi-sweet chocolate chips, and jelly beans.  I melted the chocolate, then stir in the noodles, place a jelly bean on top and then place in the refrigerator for about 10-15 minutes.
Caden thought this picture of him was the best.  He kept wanting to look at it over and over.  Boys are so silly!!!!:))))))  Always a laugh!!!
