Tot School- Thumper's Fluffy Tail

Hannah is currently 22 months old
Book of the Week- Thumper's Fluffy Tail
We played with our Color and Texture puzzle.  I showed Hannah the fluffy bunny and she put it together.
Bunny Ears (The Itty-Bitty Bookworm)- I cut out bunny ears and had the kids color them and then glue cotton balls on the ears.  Once they dried I used a sentence strip to staple the ears on for their hat.
Little Bunny Foo Foo Song- (From You Tube)
Bunny Tails (The Itty-Bitty Bookworm)- Used the printout from The Itty-Bitty Bookworm and we used a clothespin and cotton ball as a paint brush to paint the bunny.
Bunny Tails (The Itty-Bitty Bookworm)- Hannah had to match the correct color bunny tail with the correct colored bunny.
Oval Butterflies- (The Itty-Bitty Bookworm)- Our shape of the month is the oval so we made oval butterflies.
Melissa and Doug Sequencing Set- We do not use the patterns on the bead sequencing, she just puts the beads on the rod for hand eye coordination.

Preschool Corner- Thumper's Fluffy Tail

Caden is currently 39 1/2 months old

Book of the Week
Bunny Ears (The Itty-Bitty Bookworm)- We made bunny ears.  Usually Caden wants nothing to do with hats but he wore this one for two days.  Oh, and in the picture of both of the kids Caden did not want to stand by Hannah.  Silly Boy!

Rabbit Facts- (The Itty-Bitty Bookworm) I printed out the bunny pictures provided by The Itty-Bitty Bookworm and we talked about each one of them.  Then I made two columns on the white board,  What we know about rabbits and What we've learned about rabbits.  Then the kids taped the correct rabbit picture in the correct column.

Little Bunny Foo Foo Song (click here to get it)- We watched Little Bunny Foo Foo song on you tube.

Cotton Tail (The Itty-Bitty Bookworm)- We painted our bunny's gray like in the story.  For paint brushes we used a clipped a cotton ball with a clothespin.  Then glued a pom pom for a tail.

Bunny Tails (The Itty-Bitty Bookworm)- I had Hannah match the correct colored pom pom to the correct colored bunny first.  Caden helped Hannah, then it was his turn.  It was so funny because Caden put them in the wrong spot and looked at me with a smile.  He knew it was too easy so he played a little game.  lol

Sizing Bunnies- I had Caden put the bunnies in order from largest to smallest.

Shape of the Week is Oval (The Itty-Bitty Bookworm)-  We made oval butterflies.
Caden played with Motor Works we got from Discovery Toys a while back.  This is always a favorite.
