I went to a garage sale last weekend found a table for Hannah and I also found the game Rush Hour Jr. for Caden. It cost $1. Perfect!!!!! He loves lining up the cars and we also worked on making the cars look like the picture. He needed some help but he did pretty good.

My sweet little girl!

Caden's tea set

I thought this was a cute picture of the two!
Last week I found a tea party set at Target in the dollar section. Lucky me because in our
Itty-Bitty Bookworm lesson our group activity is to have a Tea Party. So today I just let Caden explore with the tea set. He loved pouring the tea (water) into the cups. He played for about 30 minutes.

Yesterday I went to the resale shop by my house and found some little animals and dinosaurs. I got about 15 of them for $9 (Great Buy, they usually cost about $2-$5 a piece). At first Caden was upset he didn't get any cars but when we got home he totally loved them. He started lining them up just like he does his cars. lol:)
That same day we went to the library to get me some books. Well, I found this book called Plans
and Patterns for Preschool by Karen Franz. So I looked in the book under the month of May just to see what ideas she had. Well I saw this pattern for a barn and thought to myself...oh...I have a box (from diapers) that we can make into a cute little barn for his new animals. Boy did he love it!!!! Caden not only put his animals in it but thought it would be funny to get inside with his animals....why not!

I got these stamps (they had a ton) at Michael's for $1.00 each. It has been a long time since I have been to Michael's but they had a lot of $1.00 items. Hannah's birthday is coming soon so I hope to go back and get the kids party favors.

My talented husband built this train table for Caden! He did such an awesome job!:) I bought the train track at a re-sale shop for $20 and we bought the wood for $30. $50 for a train table! What a good buy!!!!! Right after I took this picture my little sweet Hannah was so excited about the train table and had such a great time pulling off all the trees she could get her little hands on. Silly girl! Oh, and my husband also built the entertainment center (you can't see all of it) in the background too!

I got this Thomas The Train Sticker Activity at Marshals for $3.99. Caden loves it because the stickers come on and off and they are not sticky. I am not sure what the product is called but I have seen some on
Oriental Trading.
Yesterday seemed to be a long day because after daddy got home from work he went surfing and he didn't get home until 7pm. He is usually home around 5pm. So we had to be a little creative. It was our first time playing hide and go seek. Very funny! Caden didn't get the concept of hiding but loved looking for me. He would put his face up against the wall and try and count. Wish I had a pic of that!
We went to Salvation Army and found some good little toys for cheappppp (they are in great condition too)! I got
tunnel for 3.99 and boy did they have a blast! A
fisher price cash register for 2.99, and a f
isher price little superstar at a Little Bo-tique for 14.99. They had a lot of fun. (The links are just for looking at the pictures I got these items at Salvation Army and The Little Bo-tique)
