Halloween 2010

More pumpkin decorating.  They are very focused.
We went to a Harvest Festival with our Cousin Zoe and our new friend Logan.
Paw-paw in the background.  Caden being silly:)))
Little Dorthy saying "Cheese".  She was very shy at the festival.
 Look at this "Little Slugger"!
 Again!:)
 He loved the festival!:)))
Trick or Treating in the neighborhood.
Caden was on a mission to get candy and go to as many houses as he could.  We really only went to about 6-8 houses and then he surprisingly said, "Mommy, I think that is enough now.  Let's go home and watch cartoons and go to bed."  I looked at him without hesitation and said, "Of course".  Then I figured out he wanted to go home so he could EAT his candy.  Silly boy!:)))

Pumpkin Decorating

Last week we decorated small pumpkins.  I got the awesome idea from Elle Belle's Bows website.  She decorated her own pumpkins so pretty.  So I let the kids have a try, and they loved it.  You can tell by their pure concentration.

Go by her site and check out what a wonderful job she did decorating her pumpkins.

Zoo Boo

Before we left for the Zoo Boo (Trick or Treat at the Zoo) I had the kids take some pictures.  Boy were they excited they would not stop making silly faces.:)

At the Zoo Boo the kids got to pick out a pumpkin and decorate it with a marker.:)

We also took some pictures.  Normal "cheese" picture.
Then of course we had to make a "silly" face. :)))

Fourth of July 2010

We visited some good friends for the 4th this year and had a great time!  The kids really enjoyed themselves too!!:))  They played on the trampoline and a jeep that they just couldn't stop riding.  We also watched fireworks for the first time....well I should say we waited for fireworks!  They were suppose to come on at 9:20pm and they didn't start until 10:15pm.  Hannah was asleep by then...and Caden saw them out the car window while on the way home, which probably worked out better because he was so worried about how loud they were going to be when the show started.

Easter 2010

We spent the day before Easter at Nonnie's house in the country.  Every time we have gone to Nonnie's in the past with the kids they were nothing but fussy.  This time they had a much better time because they got to enjoy the great outdoors, which any kid loves!

In the picture above the kids were holding hands walking back from the pond to Nonnie's house.  So sweet!!!!

Both of the kids loved throwing rocks into the pond!!

Both kids got tired of walking on our walk!
Caden's favorite and most memorable part of the trip was fishing!!!!  I could not believe it...he figured out how to cast and reel in his bate all by himself (his bate was a Lightening McQueen tire that came with the fishing pole, no hook).   Love both of these pictures!!!!:))))

Mee-Maw made a bunny cake for the kids to decorate!

We died Easter Eggs!
And hunted for them!  Caden new exactly how to hunt for Easter Eggs this year!  Hannah got the hang of it and she was just too cute walking around with her basket in her hand.  Caden would find one for her and show her where it was.
We can't forget our little cousin Lyla and Aunt Jill!!!  Lyla's first Easter!  Love you guys!
 Then the Easter Bunny Came!

Easter Egg Hunt 2010

Oh, it is so sweet to watch children put eggs in their basket and get so excited to see what is inside!  This was the first year both kids new what to do and we got to watch! Oh and Caden even gave Hannah some kisses!:)))  The place we went to was so crowded so each kid got about 3-4 eggs each.  They didn't know the difference and plus less candy!:))

Rainbow Cupcakes

Oh my goodness!!!! I really thought the kids would enjoy this one and I sure was right. Buttttttt I thought they would enjoy spooning the different colors into the cupcake pan. I was wrong all they did was lick there little fingers to the bone.....and the bowl and the table and there mouths. Anything that had cake batter on it they licked!!!! lol It sure was fun and messy!

I got this idea and recipe from Family Fun.
