Bottle Activities with Hannah

I got this bottle idea from this great site...Little Hands, Big Work.

Hannah loves it. This time I used other objects for her to put in the bottle. Popsicle sticks, dominoes and pom-poms.

Red Rubber Ball-Rolling

Rolling- I had a variety of balls and Caden rolled them down a ramp.  When we raised the ramp we talked about if the ball would go faster or slower.

Red Rubber Ball-Tennis ball prints

Tennis ball prints- Get colored paint and dip a tennis ball in the paint.  Then throw it into a baby pool lined with paper.  What fun!

Alphabet Lotto-  Caden did two cards and was done with this activity.  Hannah loved it...even though she didn't know what she was matching.  lol

Red Rubber Ball-Vocabulary and Sound Sort

We are currently reading Red Rubber Ball and following the Bailey's July Year 2 Itty-Bitty Bookworm Curriculum.  The vocabulary cards came from Bailey's July Year 2 Curriculum and the Sound Sorting lesson came from Bo's Curriculum.  

Sound Sort-  I ask Caden what the first letter of the word is of his vocabulary words and he matches it with the correct letter.  Last time we did upper case letters and this time we did lower case letters.  I had to help him a little... we need to work more on recognizing lower case letters.   Over all he did well!   

Magic Nuudles

I love this picture...I wish I would have taken it with my SLR.

We had a blast with these Magic Nuudles.    Not messy, easy to clean and fun to play with.  We made shapes, flowers, crosses, and Caden liked making lines.  All you need is a damp sponge. :)))

The Three Bears-Felt Bear

Tot School Caden 29 1/2 months 

I have been documenting Caden activities since January 09.  I love, love, love 1+1+1=1 blog.  I have finally decided to join Tot School.  I have been meaning to for a long time but it has taken me awhile to learn about this blog stuff.  Having the kids 17 1/2 months apart does not give me much time on the computer.  So from now on I will also add the label Tot School so we can be apart of this great adventure!  Hope you enjoy!!!

The Three Bears- The Home of The Three Bears

I got the house outline from The Itty-Bitty Bookworm.  Caden painted glue on the house and then used popsicle sticks to make the bear's house.

A is for apple.  I do not remember were I printed this from...when I do I will post it.

The Three Bears- Size Matching

In this lesson Caden had to match the correct chair, bed, and bowl with the correct size bear.  He really enjoyed this activity, he even pulled it out the next day.

The Three Bears- Little Wee Bear's Teddy Bear

In this lesson we were supposed  to use brown construction paper and I was all out.  So we used black instead.  Hannah was awake while we did this lesson and she so wanted to pull off the buttons and eyes.  I wanted to see if she would be interested in putting the paper on the bear but she was way more interested in the buttons and eyes.

I tore up paper and put it in a cup for Caden to put on the Teddy Bear.  In the lesson it said to use scissors but we didn't use them (maybe next time).
