Forest Animals

Putting the butterfly under the flower home.
Placing the rabbit in the forest.
Pointing to the shell for the snail.
Placing the squirrel under the tree.
Caden's saying, "What's that Mommy"!

For this activity our goal was to sort animals and their homes.  First I printed and cut out forest animals and their homes.  Then I put the animals homes on the floor in a horizontal row.  We talked about each one the animal homes.  Then I showed him the pictures of the forest animals.  We then placed the correct forest animal under the correct forest home.  He really enjoyed this activity.  We played 3 times.
