Calendar Time- I got this pointer from Mardels last weekend and Caden has been obsessed with it. I love it too because it helps he understand what number he is actually counting and one to one correspondence.
Animal Homes- We are reading Over in the Meadow and our lesson from The Itty-Bitty Bookworm was to print out the animals homes and the animals. Caden had to figure out what animal belonged to what home. I had him look through the book to figure it out.
Then I got him some Lincoln Logs and we built a log cabin together. I also brought out all his animals and his farm.

Hooray for graduating!! :) I think we'll be moving/transitioning some at our house too! :)
Thanks for visiting my blog! I meet all of these fun people online with kids close in age to mine, but everyone lives so far away. That's too bad, because with everyone's creative ideas, we could have some great playdates!
I've been looking into purchasing the Itty Bitty Bookworm curriculum, but I've hesitated because I hate to spend money on something without knowing for sure if it's what I'm looking for. Have you been pleased with it? My problem with preschool curriculums that I've looked at is that a lot of them focus so much time on colors and shapes. Lexy knows colors and shapes so I'm wanting something a little more in depth. I don't consider her advanced, but she does know basic "preschool stuff." (colors, shapes, identifies letters and knows their sounds, and writes most letters). I've written to the creator of the curriculum asking questions to see if it would work for us, but she never responded back. Any information that you could give me would be helpful. My email is mandy55404@yahoo.com Don't feel rushed or pressured to respond, I'm just curious and looking for some insight. Thanks!
