Creative Arts-
Green Paint Squishers-
- Today we mixed yellow paint and blue paint in a snack bag to make green. After we mixed it we painted with our new color. He loved squishing the bag!
Mud Puddles-
- We tried to make brown paint to resemble mud. I didn't' have any brown paint so we mixed some colors and it came out to be army green instead. Thats ok he enjoyed painting with it anyways.
Learning Center-
Mud Puddle-
- I cut grocery bags into squares and put them in our little pool and we pretended it was a large mud puddle. Caden put all his stuffed animals cars and a puzzle inside the pool. He rolled and rolled in the pool. It was so neat, he picked up one of the pieces of brown bag I had cut and said "Mommy Diamond". Then he said "Square" and held it to the pillow and said "Match". What an awesome teaching moment!!!
Oh and we made Pudding Mud Cups
Caden loved crushing the oreos and mixing the pudding together. He really enjoyed all the activities today. So far I am loving this curriculum.
