How we do Mommy School
A few of my readers have asked How do I do Mommy School with an almost 3 year old and almost 1 1/2 year old? Well it has been a lot of trial and errors and I am sure there will be many more. As of now things are flowing very nicely the way we are doing Mommy School now.
In the picture above I have a cheap version of a flip chart with songs and activities we have planned for the week. I printed out the songs on my computer and laminated them. Then I punched two holes in the top and laced yarn through them so I could hang them on the easel. Each poster is a song or it has a label such as: Story Time, Bible Time, Craft Time or Prayer Time. So when we get to that picture or song the kids know what is next. I change the songs weekly according to the lesson we have for the week. All of our lessons come from The Itty-Bitty Bookworm.
Feel free to click on Posters for Mommy School and it will send you to my print outs if you are interested in making yourself a flip chart. Please send pictures if you have created one yourself. Can't wait to see!

This is Hannah's lesson from Bailey's The Itty-Bitty Bookworm (year 1 Oct.). We are reading Old MacDonald had a Farm. So we put the eggs in the basket and sang The farmers got the eggs, the farmers got the eggs, Hi ho the dary oh, the farmers got the eggs.
