We made windstocks out of gallon plastic bags.  I took the kids outside to test them, and had the kids talk about which way the wind was blowing.  I also asked how hard it was blowing.  I got the idea from The Mailbox Science.

We are finally getting settled in our new house.  Once we finish painting I will post pictures.  This week was our first consistent week of school with great curriculum and lessons the kids really enjoyed.  Thanks 1+1+1=1 and Confessions of a Homeschooler.

Valentine Suprises

For Valentine's Day 2011 Aaron and I gave the kids a little bear, heart candy and a red spatula (they love cooking with me).  They were so excited that it was a "Special Day."  It is so special when it is the little things that make them happy.
