Fall Sensory Tub: Colored hay, leaves and acorns
Object is to find the acorns.
Acorns: I got all the supplies from Michales
We added a little Physical Education to the game. I had the sensory box sitting by me and when I said, "On you mark get set, Go"! They would look for an acorn and then run to the other end of the living room and place the acorn in the container.

Then Hannah practiced her scooping and pouring skills with the acorns.
Making brown squares. First we colored the squares and then attempted to color the sticks, but no one wanted to color them. Then we talked about how a square has 4 sides and then we glued the sticks on the square.

I found this worksheet...don't remember which one but I was very impressed with Cadens writing.
This was a cute game I made up. I cut out big pumpkins and little pumpkins and laminated them. I also had one big bag and one small bag. First, the kids started by the door and I would say "On your mark get set, Go"! I gave each child a pumpkin and then they had to put the correct size pumpkin in the correct size bag.
Then I used a dry erase marker and put upper case H on the big pumpkins and a lower case h on the small pumpkins and we did the same thing.

I traced the spider web with hot glue and Hannah used her finder to feel the texture.

Hannah colored the cat black line from The Itty-Bitty Bookworm and I cut construction paper out and she glued it to the cat.
Caden is currently 34 months old and Hannah is 16 1/2 month old
We start out with our Prayer Poster. We say a prayer and then I ask Caden if he has any special prayers. Sometimes he does and most times he doesn't. lol (toddler)
Next is our number of the week which is number 5. We count to five and then I have Caden color the five and stick five stickers on the number.
Our letter of the week is D. I have Caden do a cut and paste. Paste items that begin with the letter D.
After our letter of the week we continue with a few songs. They mainly come from
The Itty-Bitty Bookworm, depending on what lesson we our on that week. I also have a poster after our songs that says Story time. That is when we read the book that The Itty-Bitty Bookworm suggest for that lesson. After Story time I have a poster that says Bible Time. We then do our Mini Bible Unit from The Itty-Bitty Bookworm. After Bible is Craft Time. That is when we actually do our crafts/lesson from The Itty-Bitty Bookworm.

We had such a wonderful day with out Home school group at the Pumpkin Patch! We will defiantly do it again next year.

Caden is looking for the animals on his Animal Sticker Bingo. Before we left for the San Diego Zoo me and my husband made Caden an animal bingo game. So everytime he found an animal that was on his sticker sheet he would put a sticker on that animal.
We found Fillmore!:) Oh, and Caden had to carry Hannah purse...but he did have his cars in them. lol
