This was such a cute lesson by The Itty-Bitty Bookworm!
Get on the Bus Lesson- I took the kids on a pretend bus ride. I lined up our chairs, and had the bus driver use a paper plate as the steering wheel. We also used bus name tags and name tags for their seat on the bus with their picture on it. While we they were sitting in the chairs the Wheels on the Bus song was on and then we sang it without the song.
Wheels, Wheels, and Wheels- For this lesson I printed out the school bus and told Caden to color were he thought the windows and wheels might go. Then he glued on windows and wheels that I had cut for him.

Alligators
We talked all about Alligators. Where they lived, how the mother carries their babies, why alligators like sitting in the sun and more. One of our activities was to make alligators with our play dough. So we did...we had a great time putting them in the water and the mud. We also counted them.
Another one of our lessons was about colors and how God made them. I made colored crayons out of felt, then I made pictures that went a long with the color and I had him match them. He played about 3 times.

Cornstarch Sidewalk Paint
I got this idea from Pink and Green Mama. She has such and awesome and colorful site. Check out her site to get the recipe and also to just take a look around her site, you will be drawn in by all the bright and colorful colors.
Pocket Chart and Flashcards
Hannah loves to use the pocket chart. She usually is just pulling down what I have up there for Caden. So today I did flashcards with her. I had a stack of flashcards and I would say the flashcard and then she would put it in the pocket chart. She loved it!

Chicka Chicka Boom Boom-Coconut Playdough
Coconut Playdough- For this lesson we were supposed to make our own playdough and add coconut extract to the recipe. I did not have any and I also did not have some of the ingredients for making playdough. So we made do and just used our own.
The next directions were to make the playdough into long thin snakes and make alphabet letters.
Chicka Chicka Boom Boom- Lacing Noodles
Lacing Noodles the Letter "N"- For the letter "N" we dyed noodles with alcohol and food coloring. We let them sit and dry before lacing them on a piece of yarn. The alcohol was very strong so I would suggest using vinegar I heard you can use that too (that is what you use to dye easter eggs...right?)
New Tunnel
Yesterday we made a new tunnel! Usually we connect the tunnel and the tent...well today Caden gave me a new idea to connect the square pads we use on the floor. So we connected that and made a longer tunnel and boy did he have a good time. Hannah went through it a couple of times but she was ready for dinner a little early so of course she bothered Mommy the entire time I was cooking...nothing entertained her at that point. Boy did she eat a good dinner though! :)

I got these star ice cubes from the Target $ section and put them in the freezer. Once they were frozen I put them in the Sensory Tub and they sorted them in ice cube trays.
Indivual activites
This is what he cut!
I wanted to see if Caden could cut on the lines. He has been cutting for about 2 months...just any paper I give to him. So I gave him this project to cut on the lines and WOW! He did great!

The Letter L for Lamb- I printed the lamb blackline from The Itty-bitty bookworm. Caden glued cotton balls on the lamb.
Chicka Chicka Boom Boom- The Letter L
The Letter L- For this lesson we were supposed to use green and brown butcher paper to make a coconut tree. Hang the tree on the wall and put all the letters on the tree. Instead we used our own tree! lol
Chicka Chicka Boom Boom- The Letter K
The Letter K- K is for Kangaroo. I printed out the Kangaroo blackline from the Itty-Bitty Bookworm and the kids painted the kangaroos brown.

Finally Organized!
This is were I have the pocket chart and we discuss vocabulary words and other things. We move the lego table when necessary (Grandpa Schindler made it, he's so awesome)!
In the study is were most of Mommy School happens. Here is the table Caden's Mee-Maw got at a garage sale and said we could use it!!!! How perfect! I also have the easel in there too.
I got this shelf at Ikea and labeled all of our Mommy School supplies.
Bottom two shelf's are for the kids to get into.
I finally got everything organized for our Mommy School!!!! Of course I will probably move things around here and there but for the most part I have got all the necessities. I have our play room separate from our school room, above I will tell you what each picture is.
